Ora digam lá quantos de vós têm paizinhos com porcelanas guardadas lá em casa, embrulhadas dentro do armário da Sala de Jantar ou, para os mais old fashion, com uma folhinha de papel vegetal entre cada pires? O medo de partir uma peça e arriscar uma colecção incompleta ou uma ida desenfreada ao Ebay em busca de uma igual cai na ridicularidade (para alguns pura precaução e estima) de ter as porcelanas mais bonitas encaixotadas para que ninguém lhes toque.
Eu, pessoalmente já convenci a minha querida Mãe a desempacotá-las para as utilizarmos, e, no caso de alguma se partir (o que já aconteceu) podemos sempre fazer uma Tea Party com peças de vários sets, o que, na minha leiga opinião, até me parece bem mais divertido e sui generis.
Deixando-me de dissertações "porcelanescas", até porque, se há alguém a quem eu deveria dar o prazer de escrever este texto esse alguém é o meu caro amigo Antoine que é praticamente um Doutorado em porcelana, encontrei por aqui esta brilhante ideia para quem não quer usar as porcelanas, ou até para quem não gosta delas mas até gostava de ter um candeeiro igual a este pendurado na Sala de Jantar! Haha!
Lets see, how many of you have parents with porcelain stored at home, wrapped in the cupboard in the dining room or, for the old fashion ones, with a leaf of parchment paper between each saucer? I personally have convinced my dear Mother to unpack all the china to use it daily, and in case of some lack of luck (which has happened) we can always do a Tea Party with several and different sets of china, which, in my poor knowledge opinion , it seems a lot more fun and sui generis.
Leaving myself from china dissertations, because if there is someone to whom I should give pleasure to write this text that someone is my dear friend Antoine who is practically a Ph.D. in these matters, here I found this brilliant idea for those who not want to use china, or even for those who do not like it but would love to have a lamp like this hanging in the Dining Room! Haha!
